Year 5 Additional lessons during May half-term, 2020

During May Half-Term, all Year 5 groups will have usual weekly classes. Below are the details of additional classes I will be running from Harris, Purley. They are not mandatory, if your child attends a weekly lesson on the same day as an extra class you want them to attend, please contact me and I will rearrange your child’s weekly lesson.

1. Tuesday, 26^th May 2020, from 10 am to 1 pm:-
   • Year 5 Creative Writing Workshop
   • Descriptive Writing:  how to plan with a focus on how to use figurative and sensory language effectively. We will look at setting, mood, tone, atmosphere and imagery. Oxymorons, pathetic fallacy and juxtapositioning will be taught. This will help with any sub-genrè of descriptive writing.

2. Wednesday, 27^th May 2020, from 10 am to 1 pm:–
   • Year 5 11 Plus Maths
   • Multi-Step word problems from KS3 Level 6 to 7 Maths.

   • Cost is £45
3. Thursday, 28^th May 2020, from 10 am to 1 pm:–
   • Year 5 VR/NVR
   • Number and letter codes, Spatial Reasoning, 3D Nets of Cubes & Cuboids
   • Teacher Ms Hadjer
   • Cost is £45
4. Friday, 29^th May 2020, from 10 am to 1 pm:–
   • English Comprehension & SPAG
   • Teacher Ms Leila B
   • Cost is £45

The total cost of all 4 sessions is £195. Each lesson can be booked separately too.
