About this assessment
For children entering Year 5 in September 2026. Our Year 5 spaces are selective, and places are limited. This assessment helps us understand your child’s current abilities, decide whether our course can cover what they need in the time remaining, and measure their progress. The papers are in Key Stage 2 maths and English.
How it works
There is no live invigilation. We email the papers when you book, for your child to complete on their own at home. You then upload the papers, with a video of your child sitting them, using the link we send. Please return them within one week.
If you cannot attend either session (online or face to face), please book the assessment and email us at enquiries@pillaitutors.co.uk as soon as possible to discuss other options.
If we are not able to offer your child a space, we will refund the £60.
What you get
You receive marked papers, detailed feedback, free summer homework, exclusive access to our Year 4 summer course and a reading list.
